Went shopping with the parents today. They got me up at 0600 on a Saturday which was so not cool considering the boy called at like three last night needing to talk. I wound up taking a nap this afternoon to make up for lost sleep. We found a really good deal on a 20" flat screen in Sears, so there's my Christmas present this year. I told Mom

Shawn, the boy, hasn't done anything holiday related either since his Mom died. She was really big into decorating and going all out for any holiday. He dislikes people making a fuss about his birthday for the same reason. This whole time of year is rather rough for him.

And hey...you weren't supposed to encourage the muse! The cracky dream I had will probably get posted later this evening NEVER see the light of day.
