Ship Olympics is almost over. Were you around when that started? I can't remember. My team has won awards. I am very pleased. ^__^
Um ... it's been kinda quiet in fandom, I think. :/ Not much going on. Oh, I signed up for trekreversebang. *shrug* That's all I can think of at the moment.

Yup, Ship Olympics is this year's Ship Wars, and it's been way better than it was last year in terms of equality. Team sizes have been regulated so we don't have HUGE teams crushing little tiny teams, and the points/awards distribution feels a lot more fair as well. It's been fun, although it's not as active as it was last year, I don't think. To be expected, I guess, since Reboot is, like, two years old already.
Nothing much going on with me. I finally started using my AO3 account and I have a Tumblr now. Still deeply in love with my husband, Simon Pegg. :3 And obsessed with Portal 2, even though I have never played it and probably never will.

regulation in sizes seems so great! i'm sure next year will bump in activity, with the new movie being so close at that point (i hope).

nope, nothing new. school. work. tired. pretty much describes my life! hopefully this summer i'll get to work on more creative stuff and make myself feel better. who knows!
OH. you'd like to know this i guess: i got to see simon pegg while i was in england in the fall! twice, actually! he is super nice IRL even when he is signing for epic lines of people. totally worth of your love.

Also, Trek fandom is pretty dead, unless you like Kirk/McCoy or Kirk/Spock.

i've noticed that fic-wise. I'm thinking of maybe trying to get back into it for my beloved rarepairs & mcchekov... but i might be getting into fanart again. i dunno!

Fandom's sort of gone stagnant at the moment, at least the part that I used to frequent. People moving onto other things, I guess.

i've noticed! i checked all my old haunts and am sad to see the state of it. i guess i've got to wait a year till we're back on track. or longer, i don't think they started filming yet so june 2012 looks really unlikely. MAKE A MOVIE BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS YOU GUIZE.
i might try to get in on a big bang in order to offer some stuff that isn't kirk/spock or kirk/mccoy. we'll see, i guess!
