Definitely Star Trek, most of fandom in general as well as LJ. Have so much going on, thinking of starting a business, and fandom can be such a time suck. Plus, I'm tired of predominance of Kirk/McCoy & Kirk/Spock...especially since I can't stand Kirk.

i hope you can find something good to do instead, then! it seems to be really hard right now, to do that sort of thing, but i totally believe in you. :)

i totally understand about the fandom. haha. i'm excited about the big bang fics that aren't kirk/mccoy or kirk/spock, but that's all that's been posted so far. :( i think i'll prolly stay on the fringes of it till san diego next year, or maybe 2012, when everyone starts to get excited for the looming second movie.

my problem is that i only feel like writing after midnight. this is a problem, as i don't feel rested after i sleep 11 hours, so sleeping 4 or 5 is going to be even worse.but i've been saving prompts (mostly rare-ish pairings, like scotty/uhura or sulu/mccoy but also mccoy/chekov and some open to interpretation) so that maybe I can do a late night writing session sometime to get myself started, and then maybe I can work on it during the day after that.

yeah especially in paris everyone says it's pretty easy. i just hope no one asks where i'm from. cause when i say canada they will look at me like i'm a DOUCHE for not learning french. but it's not my fault! i learned native languages! D:

:D i miss you guys though. i miss everybody. it's weird here, because i have a very limited friendbase, with my roommate and my good friend anna, and then getting to know the other people from my school who are here.... It's like, i'm befriending them just cause they're here, and not particularly because i want to? i dunno. i miss my nerdy friends back home. nerd presence here is low. :/
