It has been brought to my attention that a number of people have assaulted and/or threatened a person who has just recently arrived here in Memento Eden. So far, this man has had hot coffee thrown in his face, been struck in the forehead with a guitar, and suffered various other forms of injury ( Read more... )

To be fair, Byakuya-sama, I had a word with the victim himself about harassment and I almost cut his face open lost my patience, myself.

If that is the case, then either improve your patience or defer the man to someone of higher authority.

...Yes, Byakuya-sama. Of course. I'll train myself to deal with idiots.

If I can withstand interaction with Serra, I cannot see myself having problems with this man.

I can't believe I'm saying it, but, he's worse than Serra.

I shall determine that for myself.

Such terrible acts. I'm not sure if I have come into contact with this man myself, but I pity him for having to endure such cruelty.

...But what if this man were to be the one enraging others? Should some blame not be put on his part as well?

According to what I have been told, he has been upsetting others. However, rather than retaliate with violence, people should report this man to myself or one of the other members of law enforcement, since we have the authority to take action.

But wouldn't ignoring him to alert you just be rude? Not to mention that it would simply irritate him further?

Ignore? He should be backing off once a person tells him to leave him or her alone. If he does not relent, then the person alerts the authorities. There is no rudeness in such a procedure.

That said you may wish to investigate the man yourself. He's exceedingly vulgar and disrespectful, and I would imagine our laws also protect people from verbal harassment.

I was planning to do so anyway. According to what I have been told, these actions of assault were made out of irritation.

It warms the tender cockles of my heart to see the law being upheld, officer.

You are not blameless in this affair either. We have laws protecting others from harassment and prohibiting indecency.

Well, I was hardly aware of that, now wasn't I? I just landed here!

...That is a law in every sovereign state that exists.
