Ok, this not cooling down at night and being hot at 7/8 am, has gotten old really fast.  I don't have a car, therefore I have to walk everywhere, including to the bus stop which has NO SHADE.  It's not cool.

So we don't get that many summer storms out here, hence why California turns brown and ugly and dry during the summer instead of green like the rest of the country/world.  Except deserts.  But we did have a big storm today, it was funny.  It suddenly got all dark and Guinness blended in (being a black dog), then there was thunder.  Towards the end ( Read more... )

It rained last night, it was shocking.  I went out and stood in it for a few minutes, but it didn't last long.  But the night before it was even better, I got woken up about 4:30 by a loud crack of thunder.  It wasn't raining, but the lightning was really bright and there was a ton of loud thunder...so cool.  I love storms.  So with this storm, it' ( Read more... )

Ok, it's um 109 degrees outside.  I just walked out there, it was like this wall of hot oven air.  I think I live on Tatooine.  Yeah.

Well, I'm still alive, mostly.  I finished one and a half essays and was informed on tuesday that we have two more lab essays, which while they're not hard, I have a distinct feeling that one of them will come around the time of my gov portfolio.  Which is time consuming.  But, they're short, so hopefully it'll be ok ( Read more... )

I take the truck out to school on mondays because my anthro lab goes longer than the last bus on the schedual.  So just as I'm walking out to the car, it starts raining...lightning...and thundering...
