So after a lecture the day after commencement, Mom has actually laid off of me about getting a job and is now moving into the supportive method.  It helps a lot that I've been explaining things like "If a place is not hiring and I give them an application, they will NEVER look at it again because they hire people who come in while they're hiring

Good luck! The job search is never much fun, especially in this economy, but you've been getting interviews, so that's an excellent sign!

They're not. I do feel like I have some opportunities and I'm not rushed to get a job, so it makes me feel a little better about potentially turning down that one if I get offered? I really shouldn't, but I just have this gut feeling that it's not a good job for me...

I understand you on the clothes and make-up issues... I swear, if I have to go back to retail one daye, I'm going to try to get a job at Lowe's. At least they let you wear jeans. :/ Any rate, good luck on your search--now is a very difficult time to be doing this, and I hope you'll find something that will make you comfortable and happy. *hugs*

Yeah, I can deal with wearing nicer clothes and dressing up a bit, that's not going to bother me. I just feel like "representing the fashion industry" isn't me, that I feel like I'm going to be putting on a persona and I kind of don't like that. I do have other possibilities lined up, like the movie theater, and those would be a lot better. *hugs* Yeah, Lowe's is a good option too.

Yes... I thought if I named it after an engineer, then it might turn out okay. I think Trip's a little faulty though. Poor Trip.

Yeah definitely. Just hopefully one of the interviews comes back positive, or I at least keep getting them...

:D I had a fuzzy one I made from a trailer back in the day, and I animated it. It turned out pretty good, for being youtube caps LOL, from a pirated version of the movie too. I probably still have it, just not uploaded.
