You should have issued a 'tissue alert' for this one...it's the loveliest Torchwood/Jack story I've read in a long time. And I like this tradition of the Tree. I'm not sure I've seen many of your stories, but if they're anything like this one, I'll keep a box and a good jug of tea to sit back and read... Thank you for putting such a lovely minute in my day.

Sorry, I'll be sure to leave a box of tissues nearby in the future

I'm glad you liked it, my uncle had his ashes scattered under a tree, he told his kids that as long as that tree live so would he

I have a back injury that makes typing painful so I can't produce nearly as much as I want to these days

It's a lovely, lovely thing to do. And the tree benefits in many ways, most of all to keep that Spirit alive in a wonderful way. I'm a word processing operator so I do know how you feel; I've got a problem in my right arm that's radiating down to my hand. I know I have a tendency to carry bags on that shoulder but this is bad and I don't have insurance to take care of it yet. The nerves jump far too much to be considered just a pinched nerve.

Boy, if you were able to type more, the stories you could turn out, especially if they're like this one. I hope you can do another soon

Thank you, I recently bought an xbox 360 controller I'm hoping to use to get around the onscreen keyboard I use sometimes. The angle for holding that doesn't hurt my back so if it works I should be ablr to write more

I'm sorry to hear about your arm, I hope you can get soem help for it soon

Very moving, both that Jack has such a tree, and Ianto's response to it. Lovely take on the prompt. :)
