They may not be as active as cap_im, but they definitely have cap fans who would be interested! And I really wanna see the kink meme / fandom for this movie grow!

Great, the first kink meme has PFG and the second has a rule about warning for triggers it doesn't bother to enforce.

How do you propose we enforce that particular rule on an anon meme? IP logging is off (and even if it were on, you can't ban IP addresses in LJ comms), and most comments are made anonymously.

Hi! this is an unrelated-to-kinks question/remark. I was wondering if the lovely people who put together this comm's layout would be open to editing it just slightly? I'm finding it really difficult to discern between where one post ends and the other begins; it's all running together and makes me very confused. If there were some small edit in the colours or something that marked the boundaries of individual posts, it would be immensely better. Just suggesting. :3

We're working on a new layout! I aim to get it up by the middle of the week, but tonight I'll look through LJ's free layouts and find something that might work a little better. :)

Okay, seriously, where's the line here? If that beta post had put squee and good cheer into the commentary, it just would have been the best review ever. But because it was honest and helpful, it got squashed? That's bad modding.

Just be honest and admit that it was your fill, and you're butthurt that your trolling failed miserably. You're a better writer than that, PFG. Not much, but better than that.

If they'd posted the content of their comment without the subject "Beta work for your convenience", I wouldn't have touched it. They presented it as beta work, which is usually a) asked for specifically by the writer before posting and b) done privately.

It wasn't my fill or my prompt, and it wasn't capkinkmodette's either. Neither of us are PFG, whoever or whatever that is.

We started a new kink meme because we'd heard the original had IP logging on. It was as simple as that.

As far as the name goes, what would you call a kink meme about Captain America? firstavengerkinkmeme was too long for LJ.

I am valtyr, evidently. I moderate the cap_ironman, which I understand one of the mods here reads.

It's been brought to my attention that strange things are afoot at the Circle K, by which I mean there is a flamewar about possible secret identities going on.

If the mods of this comm would like to reveal their 'real' LJ identities to me, I'm happy to check out their journals and confirm that they're not the people they're being accused of being, and then keep their identities confidential.

It's just an offer to stop the battles, so people can all get back to writing fic instead of fighting about it.

Let me know if you want to do this.

capkinkmodette PMed me from their RP account, including the name of their RL/Fandom account. The RP account is familiar to me. The RL/Fandom journal is less than a year old, but has posted over fifty comments and made a number of entries with fanfic in them. The RP journal has made over a thousand comments and is also active on Facebook and Twitter.

If this is a sock it's a very dedicated one. I don't think it is.
