This may sound odd, but does Mars exist in the game!universe?

Follow up is, if it does, is it one like the DCU's mars where life existed, or more like Real!Mars, where we haven't a clue.

Which leads to the follow up to the follow up, which is can J'onn go and see for himself?

Mars does exist, but it's more like real Mars, and there's no life on it that can be found other than what we actually know of in the real world. If J'onn's powerset allows for him to travel to Mars, or he gets technology which would theoretically allow it, he's free to go there! You should run it past the plot post first, however.

Cool! I will do some research and figure stuff out. If it still sounds interesting, then I will poke that post!

If a character has canonical knowledge of a technology, enough to have built and worked it with human tech before, can they, with financial backing, do so here?

Sorry for the late response; in general, the answer is yes, but in practice this depends on whether or not the material necessary for that technology is available in the real world--for example, adamantium or vibranium technology would be impossible to create. Additionally, depending on what the technology is, it might need mod approval--for example, space ships would need to be run by us on the plot post, and time travel machines would most likely be disallowed.

In canon, J'onn uses the time he doesn't sleep in to split himself into multiple lives, carrying on multiple identities, which he has crafted and kept going for years. Can he rebuild such a network of identities here? And if so, would there be an upper limit you'd want to cap it at?

Are these civilian or Network identities?

Civilian ones, entirely.

We'd say that yes, he is allowed to do so! However, you should cap it at four identities.

Sorry for the spam!

Uhm, in Zatara's first person sample in the app, I made up the Broadway Theater, for him to be appearing at. Is it cool for that to be an actual post, and for that to be an actual place in the city? And do I need to go put that on the locations post?

In theory, yes, it could! The real Broadway is a fairly limited space, though, so it might be a good idea to make it an off-Broadway theater, which would admittedly make the name rather ironic. Either way, you should comment with it on the locations post.

That makes sense, and thank you!

If I want to play a character that is, essentially, a piece of technology dependent on another character, but has an entirely separate personality (she's a hologram in canon) and has shown signs of independence, would I be able to give her a physical form in the game?

Yes, you would!
