We just came back from dinner out. Our first choice, The Brazilian Grill, had a 90-minute wait at 6:00. Plus the building under construction next door was on fire, and the road was partially closed with all the firetrucks. Another typical vacation day around here. Husband worked, and I spent the day driving Son to all his social engagements. Now I'm slogging through a transcript.

Son is going to another friend's house tomorrow, depending on how much snow we get tonight.

I just got back from taking Son and his friend Jon to "Adventure Isles", an indoor amusement park here on Cape Cod. For $12 for each of them, they had unlimited "lazer tag", bumper cars, and roller skating. Husband and Son are sitting at the opposite end of the dining room table at the moment playing Monopoly - The Simpson's Treehouse of Horror edition. because I was on vacation during the office move my new office became a dumping ground. I could barely get in the door, plus the desk is the wrong size - my chair doesn't even fit behind it.

I spent almost an hour just moving boxes of pending stuff out of my office so I could begin to get to my boxes.

I'm off to the dentist for a 3:00 appointment to get this tooth fixed (again). I'm not mad at the dentist. He's done most of my root canals. I trust him to fix it ( Read more... )

A Happy Easter to all!

I've been up for almost an hour because the cats don't know what daylight savings means.

We're off to the Foxwoods Resort this afternon for an overnight. Son wanted to pack yesterday afternoon for the trip. He can't wait to go swimming, and he's already told us his plan of attack for the buffet.

I slept in this morning! That is rare for me, even on a day off. Today is Son's first day of archery camp at the YMCA, then we're off to an Easter egg hunt with the cousins at the family homestead in Sandwich. I've got to get his Easter present from the Easter Bunny this afternoon, while Husband distracts him.
