So, during Entertain The Boy week of school vacation, Son discovered paintball. There's a small paintball business, field, whatever you call it, in Hyannis. We walked through the door and Son's face just lit up at all the paintball guns and gear on display. Well I didn't really go anywhere, I just spent the week driving my Son around to all his vacation stuff.

I stayed off both my e-mail and lj last week. I spent most of my computer time playing EverquestII, Sims2, and Toontown. I read a book: Colleen McCullough's Antony and Cleopatra, which I think is her last book in the "First Man in Rome" ( Read more... )

Coming back up for air here. I've had a quiet week with family. I only had to go to the office once and that was because I wanted to go in to check my mail and see friends.

I've got to work tomorrow, but it will be very quiet and hopefully a short day. We're supposed to have an ice storm starting tonight and into tomorrow.

We're leaving for Foxwoods Resort in a couple of hours and of course it's a girlparts day. Doesn't it always figure that's going to happen?

I was watching The Usual Suspects this morning when Son woke up and came downstairs, so I had to turn it off. He's now watching Yu-gi-oh or some bad Japanese anime show like that.

Son had his first self-defense class yesterday. He loved it! He'll be able to earn his white belt by the end of the 8-week program. I went grocery shopping for part of the class, then came back for the last 1/2 hour. I doubt I'll be able to do that again, it's too loud in the room and the sound resonance was causing me to have headache problems ( Read more... )
