I collect a lot of things.
Minimates: I've got an insane Minimate collection, but I'm pretty selective these days about what I buy. I don't really pick up any superhero 'mates anymore. I bought all the original Ghostbusters (my new FAVORITE series) and the next thing I plan on buying is the Back to the Future DeLorean with Marty McFly (except for legal purposes, they can't call it a DeLorean. They have to call it a "time machine").
I saw some pictures from ComicCon last week and apparently they're coming out with Universal Monsters Minimates at the end of 2011, and I'll buy those too. Wolfman and Frankenstein, fightin' Ghostbusters on my bookshelf.
Comics: I only collect four monthly comics right now: The Walking Dead, Jonah Hex, The Unwritten, Batman and Robin. I picked up a couple of the brand-new Avengers titles that came out last month and they weren't my cuppa. I've also bought the first two issues of BOOM! Studios' Darkwing Duck comic and I'm sort of enjoying that.
I buy a bunch of stuff in trades too, but that's usually for my classroom and not my personal collection.
Comic Paperbacks: That's my newest and most enjoyable collecting jones these days. Buying any and all comic paperbacks from the 1950's through the 1980's from my local thrift store. I write about them at length here.
