I know I've been a bit absent the last week or so. That will get better soon!
I think you may benefit from reconsidering the number of characters you play. Six characters is a lot to handle, and it sometimes comes across that you're overstretching yourself and feels like you're doing the bare minimum with some of them. (This is an ongoing observation, not just one from the past week or two.) I think that if you were only playing 2 or 3 characters, you would be able to devote a lot more focus to developing their personalities and CR.
I know that Raven is a shapeshifter, but I think you highly overestimate her abilities. While she may have the potential to become an extremely powerful shapeshifter, one should bear in mind that she is only a teenager and it wouldn't make sense for her to have that ability yet. I admit, I haven't read up on Mystique, but I do know that it is a severe strain on her to shift into people who are not close to her height and weight, and that she can only hold the form for so long before she has to revert back. I feel you either don't have a grasp on this or have chosen not to acknowledge it, and wanted to call it to your attention.
In defense of Raven-mun after having reread this crit, Raven is capable of shapeshifting into Charles' mother at the age of roughly six in the beginning of the film -- a woman more than twice her size -- and keep this form long enough to carry on a brief conversation with Charles as a boy. I haven't ever seen her do any shapeshifting in the city that has not been addressed before as a capability of hers in the context of X-Men: First Class. Perhaps I am misinterpreting what you mean by "she's a teenager and should not have that ability yet", but it sounds as though you have not seen the movie itself n/or are familiar enough with it as a source canon

I apologize, I worded that badly. I meant that Raven shouldn't be able to use her power to the high degree and precision that I have seen Dalrint say in a couple different ooc posts and plurks.
Hi! I'm not...really sure what you mean? First, Raven isn't a teenager. She's twenty four (it's really the youngest she can possibly be. If we assume she's six in the first part of the movie, and then eighteen years pass. 1944-1962, then she has to be 24.)
Anyway. Raven spends most of her time shapeshifted. eight to ten hours a day, probably. She does it all the time. You're going to build up a major muscle by that point, and be very good at using it. She turns into Charles's mom when she's six, and the woman is a foot taller and at least 75 pounds heavier than her. And if she had that sort of control at six, I can't imagine she's not gotten leaps and bounds past it in the eighteen years since.
I'm just...confused. What did I say or do that you had a problem with?
She held the form of his mother for a few minutes and then dropped it, if I remember correctly.
Also, as I stated above, shifting into her own height, weight etc. would not pose as great a problem as a larger shift, which I saw at least on a mod plot post that you were intending to do and have her hold for significant periods of time. In the movie, all the shifts we see are held for minutes only, and in the first part of the movie she loses control in the bar with Charles. None of that speaks to the level of control comicsverse Mystique has. She is even left behind on the stealth missions Eric and Charles go on, when ideally a shapeshifter would probably have made their mission easier, but instead Raven's left at home with the other children. None of that really makes it seem like she has a great level of control yet.
I'm only calling this to your attention because it confused me, and I think it's something you should at least think over.
Since the previous anon has brought it up, I have some concerns with Raven as well. I don't want to sound too harsh here, but her posts so far have often read as flat. Her personality comes across as pretty generic.
I know that Raven is different from every other incarnation of Mystique, but I think you should be taking into consideration that Mystique is supposed to be the person she grows up to be. Even if the different path of events in her life ends up leading her to be less ruthless and she doesn't end up as a villain, her major personality traits should be considered. Mystique is a strong, confident, independent woman. Even if Raven has not reached that point yet, it's still a eventual direction for her that should be taken into account. And I wouldn't be bringing this up if it didn't seem like you were trying to do the opposite with her by completely keeping her in her shell and preventing her from building self-esteem

First, I do actually agree with you about the school thing. At the time I was a bit stuck with what to have her do, and another character (hank) suggested she work at the institute. For a lack of a better explanation, it seemed like a good idea at the time

I appreciate that you are trying to move her in another direction as far as careers go, and I think it could be very interesting to see her in another setting

I hate to agree with the other anons, but... I do think your Raven is off. If I didn't know better, I would have assumed she was pulled from the start of the movie because she's still so insecure in her own skin. Sure, a lifetime of repression can't be shrugged off after one talk with Erik! Even so, she seems to be falling back into bad habits and I don't understand why.
But! I do enjoy Charlie, Laura and Rapunzel. Can't speak on the other girls yet since I haven't played with them.
