Hi guys, me again. NO I'M NOT ANNOUNCING ANOTHER HIATUS...I'm actually going to try and run a plot in a month or so, and would like to fish a bit for interest/things.
Sanji is currently on his way to the Caribbean. I'm sending him past the Bahamas to Antigua and near the coast of Venezuela. Where there are real life pirates who attack tourists in this day and age.
What's to stop some NPCs from finding one? Perhaps the one that lands in the ocean. Sanji can take it back from them and then god knows what he'd do with it but...he can find one. If the timeline is such that the plot runs while he's still sailing, anyway. WHAT THINKEST THOU?
Whether or not they can activate them may be moot - possessing one, especially in the hands of some high-seas warlord (who may be superstitious or may be smart enough to know that it could help him rake in the tourist ransoms), is bad enough. Sanji wouldn't take it back to be altruistic, he'd just want it and figure out what it does later. XD
I probably should have mentioned; holding one does impress the thought that it holds some sort of power (again, not sure if that's imPort only; tempted to go with whatever would give more lol/effect), as well as giving the uncanny urge to scream the power-up phrase. But Sanji is more than welcome to end up with it, one way or another; my initial thought is diver nabs it, warlord gets a hold of it via diver in their employ or theft. Thoughts?
Maggie has helped assemble the Six Components of the MacGuffin before and she's always ready to do it again!
She can use paper familiars to fly people to difficult to get to places, or to drill into stone if one's found its way underground (like it landed deep in a crater and earth collapsed in on it or something).
Cool. And I'm glad that pings well. You could always do the classic all-terrain hiding places--one in water, one underground, one in a tower/mountains, etc. If the keys are indestructible, even a volcano...
Industructable w/o the right know-how, or w/o plot timing. I was kind of thinking general biomes/across the world, though, and Egypt is taking the spot of "hot place". But fff a Volcano would've been awesome.

'Thousand' might send someone to fetch one, and then heroes would have to thwart a newly-empowered villain?

And then she can be defeated after the commercial break and our heroes will learn a valuable lesson about friendship. Or the environment. Maybe both.
