While I DO get why people would be offended (particularly if you know anyone whose family is affected by this tragedy in real life), I actually did like this plot and had planned to have a character participating in it. I think it's nice to see characters paying attention to the world around them and banding together to help ( ... )

Above anon here.

I completely agree with the idea of made up countries.

Anon from one of the above threads here who would also like to see made up countries and in-game disasters that the characters can get involved with. This is a very good solution, IMO.

To address a little side issue here: it's kind of annoying when people blame the police cast for not being responsive when the fact is, they have to respond to like, everything ever? And there are only so many players, and players can be busy or on hiatus or just maybe people are kind of tired of these plots (which I am not criticizing, but trying to look at it from a police character player's perspective)? Is it so unreasonable to assume that there is police action after certain events?

Yes, if I had a police character, I would respond to each and every HOLY SHIT!!! event that happened, because I have loads of free time. But not everybody does! And I would VERY quickly get very tired of having to do so. It's free CR and free plottiness, yes, but it can start to feel like more of an obligation than fun, and I think that's not fair to them. They had their character join because it was IC for them, or they had their character join for fun, for CR, for something to do. They didn't sign a piece of paper that said they will take on ( ... )

One of the problems is that the wanted criminal list is 90% characters that are not even here anymore, and is missing at least 4 characters that should be on it. The problem is also that it's run by imports and it should be run by npcs, because honestly there is way too much for players to manage on their own. Especially, as you said, because not everyone can be on it 24/7.

People have told you at least two of the characters missing from the wanted list at least every time you've posted an update. One of them, I have seen you reply that that character has been added. And yet, every time I look to see it, they're not added.

Leah, is there a certain reason that you're
1) Deleting comments to you.
2) Freezing comments to you.
3) Screening the comments that you've made.

Yeaaaah um Leah there is really no need for you to do this and make it look like a bigger deal than it really is. Also, someone upthread offered a viable solution to this kind of thing, so maybe take a look at that?

I'm the one freezing that were especially vitriolic, or leading off-topic. Leah's comments were and are included in this due to their offensive tone and appalling accusations, unintentional as they were. The screening was temporary because freezing comments is a much longer process; they'll be unscreened shortly. Furthermore, an official moderator post will be coming tonight in regards to all this.

The only comments deleted in this post were deleted by their original authors, and not by the moderators.

I realize this may be an unpopular suggestion, but you may consider simply freezing the entire entry before the official post goes up.
