[ Selina arrives on time, dressed in her usual designer pieces. Tank's place WAS a nicer bar around town, after all.

Plus, as much as she'd heard about Jean over the past 18 months, this did feel like something of a special outing. ]

[ Little wave along with the greeting. ]

[ Wow. The network feeds really did not do Selina justice. The girl looked like she walked straight out of a noir film -- simply gorgeous, Jean thought, with admiration.

She glanced at the watch on her wrist, then took a step forward in greeting. ]

Selina! [ A hug wasn't appropriate just yet, she knew, so instead she reached forward and gave Selina a soft pat on her forearm. ]

Thanks for this, again. It's been a rough few days. I'm ready to have fun.

[ Selina had heard about the whole Scott/Jean/Emma mess a long time ago, so she can imagine how rough it is. ]

Luckily, that's not too hard to find around here.

[ And she takes the lead, indicating the direction with a tilt of the head. ]

[ It's been a while since Jean's actually been ... well, out. Between deaths and resurrections, even beforehand, the dwindling of her marriage with Scott had prevented her from having regular dates and outings, and instead she had invested more time in the Institute than usual.

She follows Selina, glancing around at all of the people and having to catch herself from idly reading their minds. ]
