As the gun shop came into view, Heero went over the route he had just taken one last time, making sure to memorize it. It never hurt to take preemptive measures in case he ever got lost. He reached the open door and walked inside a moment later, eyes briefly roving over the few weapons on display. His gaze landed on Mello, and he nodded, going to stand near the counter.

"Do you have the explosives?" He asked bluntly, remembering Trowa's words from when they had briefly met again. Trowa didn't trust Mello. Heero couldn't help but privately agree, even with Duo's approval. He'd have to be careful about this.

He couldn't conceal a small smirk at Heero's manners, or lack of them. The kid was purely business, as different from Duo as night from day. Or maybe there was something else; Mello was fairly certain Duo didn't actually trust him, because Duo never really let go, despite what he might say to the contrary. It was obvious, though, that none of the other members of their little 'squad' trusted him for shit, even before Heero arrived.

It didn't matter, of course. Mello didn't need any of them to trust him. Business relationships should stay that way unless, of course, one of those involved was gullible enough to be manipulated. None of these kids were, and Mello knew it.

He nodded towards the back room, smile slipping into an almost frighteningly intent look as he pushed the door open to reveal boxes in various sizes, pulled out of the safe for this purpose. "What kind were you looking for, exactly?"

"Weaker explosives," Heero answered, leaning on the counter as he peered with intrigue at the boxes in the back room. "Ones that are relatively insensitive, although I would like to know what else you might have." He had been thinking about this during the whole walk, and had come to the conclusion that he would need to keep as few explosives as was possible.

Of course, that was assuming he actually had the money to buy them. He felt himself starting to frown, and quickly schooled his expression again. "I won't be able to buy anything," he added. Even if he could, he still wasn't sure about where he could store things.

Mello shrugged off the comment about payment; he was fairly certain that income wouldn't be an issue in the long run, and that Heero would be a regular customer, so he had no problems showing off what he had.

"I'm still building up my stock," he responded, picking through the boxes. "Handmaking most of them, but anyway . . . " He slid a few boxes across the floor towards Heero. "These might interest you. Weak enough, hardy. You can look through 'em, I don't care."

[ooc: lol i have. no idea how an explosion big enough to take out a wall would be triggered, so you can do it if you want :|]
