[ feel free to start new subthreads here, for doing something specific in the fight, or just threadhop around for general beat down. Fight logs are always a clusterfuck, anyway, so we can assume that it just all comes together neatly somehow! ]

[Smelled the blood as she was heading towards the Institute to pick up some papers. Adjusts her course, even though she's supposed to be staying out of human affairs--there are just some things she can't ignore. Her honor wouldn't allow it. And the scene at the park made her glad she had allowed an exception. Slows down from her completely sprint once she sees Laura in the midst of the mayhem. People are running, screaming, bleeding.

Scathach draws one of her twin swords, approaching cautiously. This can't be right--X-23 may have been a bit unstable, hard to communicate with, but this was not something she would have done.]

X-23?

[ she hears Scathach speak, but doesn't recognise the noise as words. It's just another sound to move towards, another thing giving away her current location; her attention quickly shifts from the target she's just taken down, and the body slumps to the ground and she lunges forwards, right at Scathach ]

[Scathach's skin pulls tight over her face, her freckles standing out like blood once she feels the incredible, unadulterated rage completely reeking from X-23. Something is wrong, this is not the girl she knows. Scatty draws her other sword and dashes towards her new opponent, intending to meet her halfway with force, but not enough to kill her. She decides that perhaps speaking will prove beneficial:]

POST-FIGHT | HEALING | &c

[ the new surroundings hit her harder than anything she felt during the fight, and she looks around wide-eyed, desperately trying to make sense of it all. When she can't garner an explanation by simply glancing around, she brings her claws up, and uses the tips to dig out bullets she doesn't even remember being shot with, so that the wounds can begin to heal. Probably leaving gifts from the Facility ]

[ there are more unfamiliar faces around her than familiar ones, and so she doesn't drop her guard, and simply waits for an explanation ]

PAPER AMBULANCE

[after Laura's ice bath--and hey, look, Maggie had just gathered up all this paper!--Maggie scans to see who is critically wounded (Batgirl?). Up to the three worst off (if muns so desire) will get scooped up and get carried off to the hospital via Maggie and paper bat/bird/wingedthing. ]

[batghoul]

[Batgirl is unconscious and bleeding from a pretty dire chest wound, as well as some other, less serious injuries. She will go for a ride in the paper ambulance!]

[does her best to slow the bleeding on the chest wound (as well as one can while operating a big bat golem) and carries her one-time sparring buddy into the emergency room. Will stay as long as she can (probably with arguments like, "She's Batgirl. No I don't know any other name.").]
