SUMMARY: Laura's just been ported in, and being Triggered out of her head, is currently chopping up everyone she comes across.

[ as most things were wont to, coating herself in Trigger had seemed like a good idea at the time. Being outnumbered as she was wouldn't usually have posed a problem, but being back in the Facility was making her all sorts of unbalanced; not to mention the fact that Kimura had taken a chainsaw to her shoulder joint and not turned the damn thing off until there wasn't any more flesh or bone to cut through ]

[ blacking out provided a sort of freedom. It meant that she could fight without regard for what was going on around her, and her mind wouldn't focus on the tactical aspects of the battle; nor would she be thinking a hundred other things each and every second. Instead, it made it so that the only thing her body knew how to do was kill, and doing so as quickly as possible usually meant doing so as ruthlessly as possible, too ]

[ of course, the disadvantages far outweigh the upsides. For one, she hadn't planned on being taken to an alternate universe and surrounding herself with innocent people, but now she's standing in a park, none the wiser to the fact that she's gone anywhere at all. She's terrified. If she had any sort of conscious thought, she'd be able to tell that she was terrified, because Trigger scent simply brings back a wave of memories, from all the years of conditioning that she went through. She keeps fighting, still, because she needs to defend herself, needs to keep herself safe, though she knows not what from ]
