"Johnny boy!" Spencer called out from his perch. He was sitting his butt down on Lassiter's desk like he owned it and eating from a Chinese take out box. It was the middle of the day and still fairly busy with cops running around, but that didn't stop Shawn from stopping by to pester everyone.
He caught McClane out of the corner of his eye and couldn't help shouting his arrival for everyone to hear. He waved at him and grinned with a piece of noodle sticking out of his mouth.
"I had worked as speedily as possible to investigate as best as I can," chirped the former robot, walking towards the source of the commotion from several desks over, a box of vegetable sushi in hand.
Sally had been readying herself to actually leave the station for a bit to get herself some lunch and her daily stop at the bar for an afternoon margarita. She had just put on her jacket when John entered the station, and her face brightened up.
"Welcome back, John," she said, untucking her hair from her jacket collar. Her smile was warm, and she untucked her hair from her jacket collar, buttoning up. She'll give him a proper greeting later.
"Nice to see you out of those prison duds and back in the station."

"Hey, hey, all right, listen up, people!" he says, getting a little of that authoritarian bark back, but keeping that grin of his. "I've got somebody here I'd like to introduce to you assh- *ahem* - roughnecks."
He was never good at watching his mouth, but it's worth a try. For at least a little while. Since she's obviously turned into a guttermouth like him anyway...
"This is my daughter, Lucy. Twelve years older than I remember her, but it's Lucy McClane all the same. Lucy, these are the guys. Most of them are jerks, but they're the best class of jerk we have in this dump."
Then, a look at Shawn prompts the second announcement.
"Keep in mind that, in my head, she's still thirteen years old! What that means is if you touch her, if you try anything, or if you look at her funny, I'm busting you in the mouth. Is that clear?"
Oh, Shawn saw that look from John. He grinned and gave him eyes like that of a baby angel, but everyone should know by now to keep their daughters away from Shawn. He was quite~ the scoundrel in his hay day and was still pretty good with the flirting though it was mostly harmless. Mostly.
"Shawn Spencer, resident psychic detective," he waved at her. "Looks like we're going to be seeing a lot of you around the station."

His eyes don't leave Shawn.

"Uh, hi." Well, at least she's used to it.

So she's dubious but friendly enough when she smiles (faintly) at him. "Nice to meet you," there's a pause before she admits, "and probably, yeah."
