Perceptor, coincidentally, had also come over that day. If he was to be here for a long time, it seemed logical to live among members of his own kind, and furthermore, the living quarters of the Autobots seemed far nicer than the rooms available at the MAC. The common room was almost absurdly spacious, and immaculately clean, even to his eyes.

Yes, this would suffice, he supposed.

There was a knock on the door. He wasn't certain if he should open it - he had not yet officially moved his meager possessions into the space - but, well...

He could at least see who it was.

He looked through the peephole.

Red optics? He frowned for a moment. Red was almost always an indicator of a Decepticon, but ( ... )

"Vector Prime."

He didn't recognize the voice, but then, was he to expect that all Cybertronians would have already made contact with him? He would have been more surprised if that was so.

"Sentinel Prime offered me accommodations here," he continued.

He considered his options. If this did turn out to be a trick, he had his guns, and besides which, attacking the base would be incredibly foolish. Carefully, he reached out and opened the door, still keeping his body just off center. He gave the other Cybertronian a long glance, but said nothing, then stepped aside to let the other in.

Attacking was the last thing on Vector Prime's mind. Right now, he was more curious as to who this new face was. He met the other's gaze calmly, feeling as though he were being sized up...

...well, let him. There was only so much Vector had to hide, or at least veil. He nodded in greeting as he stepped inside, taking in his first impressions of the base itself.

Bumblebee groaned, stretching and listening to odd noises his back made. For the longest time, he couldn't fathom why Sam enjoyed popping his back--he'd seen plenty of old people throwing their backs out with the same noise--but being human had put this motion into a whole new perspective. And sleep. He now understood why Sam was so slow to roll out of his bed. Pillows were amazing.

His communicator stared at him on the nightstand beside his table, announcing it was far past noon and well into the evening now.

With a frown, Bumblebee realized that while he enjoyed the comforts of sleeping as a human, he had wasted an entire day simply doing nothing. He threw the sheets aside, almost in disgust, and stomped over to the squat dresser pushed against the foot of his bed. The blond was changed in record time and out of his room, only grabbing his communicator as an afterthought before slamming the door.

'I'm going to need to find a job... Maybe Sentinel can assign me to something. Or maybe I should look for a position in the city. But ( ... )

Vector Prime nodded slowly. "Well...those notes are to be shared. I see no reason to keep them from anyone who asks for them." Unless they'd already made a point of non-cooperation, but, well.

Another noise caught his attention, and he broke his gaze away from Perceptor to look towards the source. Another human - or not? - looking at the pair of them, Perceptor and himself.

"Hello."

Bumbebee stared back at the Prime, blue eyes meeting that unnerving red. It looked so out of place on a human.

"Hello..." "You must..." "Be the..." "...prime rib."

Perceptor lapsed back into silence when the newcomer arrived - he assumed they must be an Autobot. After all, who else lived here, besides that one... what was he, a Medabot? He tiled his head curiously at Bumblebee's odd way of speaking, but said nothing on the matter.

Life in a human body offered few pleasures for a bot who disliked organic life as much as Sentinel Prime. That being said, one of the few things he had come to derive genuine enjoyment from in his new life was returning to base at the end of a long day at the prison. As far as he was concerned, the base was his domain, the one place where he could be among his own kind...and Cheney, but whatever. And this new influx of Autobots to the City was particularly exciting.

He was pleased to see that Vector had already arrived by the time he got there, and greeted the other Prime immediately. "Welcome to the base," he said, giving Vector a friendly but unsolicited clap on the shoulder. "Sorry I couldn't have been here sooner. Protecting the city and all. I take it you've met the others?"

Vector immediately recognized the other Prime from the Network; the clap was a bit unexpected, but the start of surprise was minor at best. He partly reached up with a hand as he studied Sentinel's form, giving a bit of a nod.

"Bumblebee and Perceptor. How many others did you say were here?"

"I haven't seen Cheetor around here yet," Sentinel replied. "He's my second-in-command. Pete Cheney and Metabee live here also, though they're not technically Autobots like the rest of us. I make exceptions for certain allies. There are a couple other Autobots at large in the City, but they haven't chosen to join us here. Yet."

He looked and sounded none too pleased by that last statement.

Vector Prime could understand Sentinel's displeasure, but at core...

"It is their decision, Sentinel, and as a Prime it should be respected." A brief pause. "Though, I understand that the word holds a bit of a different meaning to you, than it does to me." There was the thinnest of smiles, there.
