Life signs. Good. He's not dead.

Skyfire taps off what remains of the ice, running a diagnostics yet again. Superficial damages. He'll be alright.

Good.

The gentle shuttle works on the manual release mechanisms that are thankfully still working. Though he does have to pry the suit off in places- though he quickly becomes aware as skin is exposed... there are wires embedded under the Seeker's epidermis... The realization comes with a dull surprise, though it only works to fuel his anger as he carefully disconnects the pieces.

At last, he has most of Starscream's upper-body uncovered.

The scowl on his face deepens as he cocks the handgun, pressing it into Starscream's cheek and breaks open the smelling salts, waving it under his nose to bring him around.

His first thought is that it's cold. The irony was that even inside that ice the suit kept him warm.

In his dreams, he dreams of ice and screaming; except this time, he is underneath, beating at the surface, calling out for someone to save him. From himself, preferably.

And then there's that sharp smell and something cold against his cheek, and he is brought back, and then he remembers pain and there's still that insistent murmuring at the back of his head. whatdoyouwantwhatdoyouwantwhatdoyouwant

Right now?

"No, I don't want to come back," he moans, his words slurring, barely able to accentuate the sharp clicks required for his native tongue (it comes off as barely intelligible). "Transmute it all, I don't care, it doesn't make sense anymore."

He wants to empty the contents of his stomach, but there's nothing to empty. He looks horrific - his eyes are sunken, ringed by black circles, he hasn't slept all week and he has been pushing himself physically and mentally. He's even lost weight ( ... )

He looks like he's been run over by a bus. There will always be that part of Skyfire that startles quietly and nearly moves to disregard everything and be concerned...

But what about everyone else? Everything else. Starscream having gone on a rampage... having modified himself to dangerous degrees. He keeps the gun pressed to Starscream's face until-

Until I'm sorry...

That almost ruins everything. He almost stops completely. The shuttle feels his chest tighten and he stares down through the thick glasses balanced on his nose.

And then his rage is renewed- and he slips back. To their earth and he knows it's a slur that he had been soaked in for his time spent with the Autobots.

"DON'T FEED ME THAT SLAG, DECEPTISCUM." He instantly regrets it. Visibly so- and he pulls back, and lowers the gun, but Skyfire sits and seethes anyway.

"I should just shoot you now, but that wouldn't solve anything. You're immortal and I-" He turns to shoot Starscream a cold glare.

"I'm not like you."

Deceptiscum.

Well.

If that's how it's going to be...

He feels sick, and not just because of his condition. He's cognizant, for once, that he's utterly and truly fragged up. No doubt Soundwave and Shockwave will be on him as well.

But Skyfire had to shout at him like that. And the very word is enough to trigger old instincts. Deceptiscum. That's all he is, isn't he? Might as well act it. In a way, it's almost like he's not talking to Skyfire, any more. Part of him hurts, there, and burns, and indeed, it's Skyfire's presence which lets him know that he has done wrong, that he has screwed up even by his own people's standards, but... he's angry. And he's not thinking straight.

"I meant what I said," he says, taking the oppertunity to slowly get the rest of the armor off, his numb fingers fumbling at clasps and emergency releases.

"I am. But you know, frag you, Autobot. You know, I could tell you exactly how to kill me. There's a way. Slag, I will. Take a spike of raw, crystaline energon - unstable, preferably - and right here," ( ... )
