[ Despite him whining about it being Autumn already, the City is fairly warm if a little wet from the rain. He doesn't need to put on a sweater, which is a plus for him (in the future, they wore too many layers in his opinion), and it's not too hot or cold for a walk around the City. He figures it's a good excuse to familiarize himself with the place again after being away for what feels like so long.

He walks to the main central park from his house with ease and finally rests on one of the park benches. Which is wet. Not his best idea. But the morning is peaceful at least and the air fresh and there are already people--mostly joggers--around the park. He watches just in case he recognizes anyone. ]

[ She could have gone around the park or skipped it entirely but after her previous run in with Calvin and his attempts to start a "fire ritual", she needs to check up on the place to ensure a second attempt isn't being made.

The park is still standing, all in one piece thankfully. With an inquisitive look, she glances around the area, almost expecting to see Calvin again.

Perhaps he had learned his lesson. Good. ]

[ She is easy to pick out among the few people going through the park: bright red hair, pale, and a familiarity about her that bothers Booster. There's more than several heroes (and villains) from his universe here, and he knows most of them partially out of his stint with the Justice League and the other part from being a time master. But this one alludes him and maybe he's just imagining that he knows her.

He not-so-subtly watches her. ]

[ It doesn't take log; deeming the park is safe from widely imaginative little boys who may or may not be pyromaniacs and her attention falls onto her bag. Tilting her head, she feels the eyes of someone on her and her gaze locks on Booster as she opens her bag and pulls out a small paper. Before she can check it, a breeze knocks it out of her grip and it floats in Booster's direction.

Her quietly mouths, "Crap" and follows after it. ]

[ He immediately stands up, picking up the paper. It is a perfect excuse than anything to approach her and maybe figure out who she is. When Booster gets a nagging feeling about something, he needs to follow it. ]

This is why Autumn sucks--or, uh, one of the reasons. I mean, I'm talking about the wind. [ Master of conversation. He holds out the paper to her--it's probably not important. She probably thinks he's a creep right now. ] Here you go.

[ Kate blinks a couple of times at his comment. Then her lips quirk, close enough to an amused smile. She nods as she takes the paper. ]

The wind is a pain. It makes a mess of things. [ She gestures to the leaves mostly, which has yet to be raked by the City. ] Thanks, by the way.
