Day 1

Fighting the Wandering Drowning Doom Squads

Tear Drinker squads are all over the city on Day One. They came up out of the subway tunnels and sewers, spread out from the park, and sometimes were teleported where she wanted them by Ophelia. They're mostly causing chaos and scattering the local population, but they're also securing buildings and things that look important, like subway access stairs and utility junctions. And there's Heavy Metal playing everywhere they go! ( All the information about them is in the OOC post up top! )

[ So some insane lady of black darkness or what the hell ever thinks she's taking over the City. Julian would really like to be taking the fight straight to Ophelia, but it looks like he's got to punch through a bunch of asshole zombie-looking guys first.

That's okay though, he's not here alone. He's shields and quite literally knocking chunks out of zombie guys with telekinesis. ]

Day 2

Battling the Tear Drinkers in the blocks around Central Park

While there are still squads of troops out in the city to be fought, their numbers have begin to lower, and many of them are retreating back to the area around central park and forming a fairly strong parimeter to hold onto their stronghold. They're securing buildings, driving the population out into the rest of the city, and setting up defensive barricades with cars and debris. The squads themselves are blurring together, so it's entirely possible to run into ten or fifteen grave diggers without bride support, or a lone ratgut. Speaking of which, the ratguts are out in force so dealing with those could be unpleasant. Otherwise, much the same as day 1.

[ Julian is still here fighting, hoping to get sight of Ophelia if he can. Right now, he's in the middle of fighting one of the ratgut things, which is absolutely as gross as it sounds. ]

Day 3

The Battle for Central Park

After the fighting yesterday, Ophelia's troops have pulled back to the park itself, but they're doing a heck of a job holding it from the rest of the city. There are brides projecting clouds out into other parts of the city and grave diggers using anything they can get their hands on as weapons. Rats are swarming about, and Ophelia's murder of crows occasionally shows up to peck some unsuspecting person to death. Fighting is fast, hard and intense, but it's almost over! Ophelia's stage rests inside the park, next to the Sunwell, and she and her forces are waiting...
