"It is pretty different," she said, not quite agreeing with what Scatty had said. Still... "I can figure out how to do it though." She was very good at copying people, after all.

"So..." She did feel really old fashion as her eyes watched the dance floor, and she looked back at Scatty for a moment. "They're all just dancing with...whomever? I mean a lot of it looks pretty," a little pause. "Intimate."
She really felt out of date now.

Scowling, she headed to the bar first. If she was going to survive this night, she needed a drink, the stronger the better.

She was on her fifth drink of the evening, which she was sipping as she sat there watching the crowd when a man approached the table. She had danced with him earlier, briefly, and he'd been...rather grabby. Uncomfortably so, despite the fact that he was fairly cute.
"Hey! You ran off earlier." He came to a stop in front of the table, obviously slightly drunk. "I wanted to keep dancing with you."
"Sorry, I'm not interested." She offered him an apologetic smile as she spoke.
"Sure ya are, blondie! Just come have one more dance. It'll be fun I promise," he was leaning over her table some, and she narrowed her eyes.
"No thanks."
"But-" He was reaching towards her ( ... )

A second later, Angelica's gaze turned back to Raven, catching her just as she was turning from blue to pinkish again.
"Oh my god!" She squawked, stumbling through the startled crowd toward Raven. "Raven?! Are you alright?!"

She forced herself to sit up a bit straighter as the other reached her, nodding and smiling faintly. "I'm fine, Angie." She said, taking a sip of her drink. Her gaze flicked towards the man who was still storming away, then back to her new friend. Well...hopefully her friend.
"He didn't want to take no for an answer, and I'm...a little tired. I overreacted and lost control for a second." She smiled weakly. "But it scared him away so...so it's okay now."

"What was that?" Angelica felt stupid for asking. Part of her was already assuming the answer. Was what Pietro had said about the Brotherhood correct all along? She really hoped it wasn't... but how many mutants were capable of what Raven had just done? There was only one that she knew about, and while Angelica only knew of Mystique by reputation, she was honestly a little afraid of the implications.
