[Wufei wouldn't admit his chocolate appreciation, and likely only his wife knew. She was probably the reason he didn't tell anyone, actually. At least one of them.]

[So when he was walking along the park's path during his lunch break and heard free sample of a brownie, could he resist? Not really, though he studied the woman for a moment before taking a small slice from the tray.]

[Toph is often in the Park at all times, day and night. That's how she rolls, since she doesn't go to school or anything. And it's summer besides.

And bonus! Some lady is handing out brownies. This is a good day. She waits her turn, then steps up to get one.

Her hands might be dirty though. With dirt. Since, you know. Earthbender. In fact, most of her has some kind of dirt on her.]

You're giving out brownies?

Um, yes. Would you like a sample?

[She's not thoroughly impressed with Toph's hygiene, but interested people are interested people!]

[God help her, Toph really does look like a hobo teenager. Her clothes today, however, aren't torn or anything. They just look like she's been rolling in the dirt. Which isn't that far from the truth.

Hearing the note of trepidation in Shirley's voice, it takes the girl a moment to remember that she's pretty much covered in Earth and that most people around here hate that. Toph steps back and makes a downward brushing motion with her hands, 'bending most of the dirt off herself and onto the ground, then approaches again with a smile, showing her faded green eyes behind shaggy black bangs. She'd nab her own brownie, but with the vibration displacement her vision's a little blurry by the time it gets to the tray and her aim would probably be off.]

I'd love one, thanks!

[Shirley takes a sample slice, placing it inside a napkin before handing it off to Toph. She wouldn't want to get the brownie dirty as well.]

[Brownie! Clearly this was the best day to wander around unsupervised. Calvin grabs one as soon as he sees the tray and wolfs it down, not pausing to thank Shirley. Or look at her. He only looks up once he's done.]

Man, that was good! You said free samples, right? [And he's already reaching for more]

Um, yes, but you're only allowed one.

[Mooooving the tray away from Calvin's outstretching hand.]

WHAT? Why?! Is there a shortage or something? [Calvin jumps at the tray]

[Shirley is not pleased by this behaviour.]

If you behave and ask nicely, I might give you an extra sample.

Padfoot would like to try a free sample of a delicious brownie. He would like that SO MUCH! He would! No one would like it more than him!

And so it is that a massive shaggy black dog has run up, tail a-wagging, eyes full of hope, and nose full of the scent of delicious brownie.]

[Oh, a dog! Dogs would obviously not want a brownie, that would be silly.]

Oh, hello! What a nice dog you are.

[She bends over to give Padfoot a small pat on the head, leaving the brownies unguarded.]

[He IS a nice dog! And he likes pats! He likes them so much that he sits up to lick her cheek!

And then he looks over and licks a brownie right off the plate, casual as you please. YUM! :@9]

[She pulls the tray up quickly to prevent further filching.]

Oh dear, I don't think dogs should be allowed to eat brownies...

[Clearly, Lily has decided on the perfect time to wander around the park. Free brownies are ALWAYS a good thing.]

I don't think I've ever turned down an offer of free chocolate.

[She pushes the tray forward, willing Lily to take a slice.]
