Shadow. Solid. Shadow. Solid. This whole power thing was not going to get the best of Stephanie Brown!

Once more she faded into the shadow cast on the roof of the dojo wall, but was distracted but the sound of quick running of feet a sound that was usually associated with people up to no good.

Roofs here a second home to her, and in a flash she was closer to the sound which came from below. She gave herself a mental grin while pulling out a Gooper-rang and let it fly.

Reilly had ducked into the alleyway, leaning against the wall as he transformed, unbuttoning his shirt to reveal the costume that was always hiding underneath.

Soon enough, Darkdevil was scaling the walls, ready to get to a rooftop and start giving chase. (While moaning to himself about how much easier this would've been if he could still teleport.)

At least, until the sight of a flying projectile made him freeze. What was that?

The Gooper-rang lands at the feet of one of the fellows and he's now attached tot he ground giving Steph to time to make an entrance as the others try and help him.

She's all cape and blonde hair as she jumps down to where the group is...and smiles, can't forget the smiles.

"Is there room for one more at this party?" Yeah, it's all about the entrance.

"Make that two," called out an inhuman voice, who was standing atop a nearby roof. Before leaping down to join the fray, anyway. Flames flew out to those left standing as he held his billyclub close, ready to strike.

He was grinning as well. Perhaps more malevolently - or maybe it was just the fangs giving off that impression - but there was no doubt he was enjoying this.

"I don't recognize you," he whispered to the girl in the cape. "Are you new in town?"
