Billy had gone out and was heading back home when he passed by, hearing someone not so far away say something. Craning his neck to the side, he strained to listen. Something about hurting someone...?

Slightly worried, Billy headed towards it. "Hello...?" he called back. The teen could swear there was something familiar about that voice...

"Evil doesn't usually say hi," she's quick to point out, coming closer to the voice. "Just a tip for next time."

Billy steps forward, holding his hands up in surrender. "Whoa, definitely not evil here. Just a regular person... who, okay, also has magic powers but. I swear I'm a good guy?"

The person comes into view and he blinks, brain not quite catching up immediately. Then he realizes who he's looking at and his eyes go wide, practically bugging out of his head if they could.

"You... You're... Oh my god, Buffy the Vampire Slayer?"

He wasn't one of those nerds, was he? She really couldn't deal with that all over again. Buffy lifts an eyebrow, taking another cautious step forward so she can study this guy. He seems normal... kind of cute actually. For now she was placing him in the 'okay' category. For now. Magical powers were a definite flag, color yet to be determined.

"That's me," she relays so dryly. "Though I have to say... knowing my name before we've done the meeting thing usually isn't so inspirey for the me believing you're not evil. Just another helpful tip. I could get you notecards?" The thing that was really getting her is, she believed him. Maybe this place really was getting to her.

Darkness lurking was something she usually left to the evil things themselves, but recon was good, right? She wasn't hiding she was just hiding out until she could make her move. It looked a little manshaped to be a demon, and vampires didn't have the weird ball of lighty thing. Warlock? Or even... no. Couldn't be.

She drops out of the tree behind him into an unplanned tumble as she loses her footing. Is she rusty or is she rusty. "Uh. Hi. I'm usually much smoother than this."

She accepts the hand up, trying to get a read on the evil just by looking at him. No dice. "This is going to sound silly," she points out, brushing herself off and letting out a little laugh of nervousness for effect. Or maybe it's genuine. "But are you evil? Yay or nay."

Aaron had received a report of someone wandering about the cemetery after hours and had reported quietly so as to have a better chance of catching the lurker. What he hadn't expected was to catch sight of a familiar shock of blonde hair, and a challenge to all things that might or might not be lurking in the darkness. His sunglasses were off, and he gave a small smile as he calmly stepped out from behind a tree, his hands raised.

"I realize that some people do not like the police but it's hardly kind to call us evil."

She starts, before visibly relaxing at the sight of the vampire. That accent was kind of memorable. Though relaxing at vampires in general was weird for her. But okay, calming down now.

"I mean, you know, actual evil. You just got in the way of my evildar."

"Evil-dar?" Clearly that word, or whatever it is, confuses him. He shrugs, puttin his hands into his pockets and dismisses his own confusion. "On a more official matter, may I ask what your business is here tonight? It is after hours in a cemetery."

"You know. Evil radar. Slayer sense. Not unlike...spidey sense. Minus the spidey." She was getting nervous again and really needed to cut herself off. Especially since Aaron was asking her a question. "Cemeteries, slayers. Kind of a peas and carrots thing. Not that you - eat peas and carrots."

SO LAZY I'M SORRY......... fishnets May 25 2011, 16:29:37 UTC
[She likes to hang around in the cemetery, sometimes. As cliché as it is for someone whose expertise is the occult to do so, it couldn't be helped. The ghosts here weren't like the ones at home. She couldn't sit in the dark and talk to them of how the world had changed since they had left it or about their lives, when they had one. The ghosts of this world were unresponsive. There were, at least thus far, no demons or ghouls or goblins natural to this world.

The cemetery was as quiet as, well, a cemetery.

So it was a decent place to go to be alone, particularly if meditation was your aim. Some might think it strange, but she enjoyed it here. At least when it was just her. Zatanna doesn't have time to settle down and relax upon hearing the voice. Instead, she moves to approach it, cautiously, considering it seemed to come with a threat.]

...do I get a free pass if I'm not evil? [Because really, she can't quite make out who she's heard and Zee doesn't want to make a mess of this place.]

[Buffy frowns, stepping closer to the voice as well.] I guess so. In the way of, not really so much for beating up good things.

Or people. You know, for a place that needs heroes, there seems to be a lot more of us than there are of them.

r-really? well, if that's the case... /SLAMS INTO fishnets May 26 2011, 01:48:31 UTC
Oh, well. [She follows the sound of the other's voice, only to be met with a familiar face. Oh hey, she owes you cheesy souvenirs...]

Eh, it isn't so bad. You get used to it.

Yeah, maybe. [She wasn't so sure.] You're the fun-killer's friend. I thought for sure you'd be in Disneyworld by now.

[ Pam actually is not in the cemetary. Pam is walking very quickly on the sidewalk outside the cemetary, but pretending she's not hurrying, and shut up this is just how fast she walks all the time.

Mostly, Pam is just pretending this place doesn't still freak her out. (On some level, she's not freaked at all. Just sort of amused at how ironic it is that she and Andy are here and Dwight isn't. This is Dwight's sort of thing. He'd probably die of joy.) But really, the City is a weird place full of weird things and even if Pam can pull chainsaws out of her pocket, she doesn't really want to dawdle. So she's scooting along the sidewalk pretty fast. ]

[Buffy hears her footsteps before she sees her, turning to the street. Someone moving that fast usually had a reason. She quietly makes her way closer, starting to recognize the woman.] Pam? ...Are you okay?

Oh, no. I'm fine. Just trying to get home before nerds raid the City again.

[She gives something of a meek smile, noticing Pam's jumpiness.] I think they're done for now. Do you need an escort of the walking variety? As opposed to...the non-walking variety.
