[It's an older man that walks into her apartment, dressed up in a business suit with brown hair turning to gray. He takes a look around, hands in his pockets, a very blatant lack of interest present in his eyes.]

Nice place. [With that, his voice changes. A little stream of red lights prelude the deconstruction of the man's form, fading into Envy's usual physique. He proceeds to find a place to sit and face Lust again, chin resting against his closed hand. Any remains of Envy's usually provocative character are replaced by a scowl when the question comes.]

... The Flame Alchemist captured Gluttony. Father sent me to bring him back, [The other hand is placed against his side.] but he'd broken free by the time I got there, and Mustang had left.

He was fighting against the Elric brothers and some other guy. [WHO CUT HIS ARM OFF AND HAS ANNOYINGLY EFFECTIVE GUARDS RAGRHA] From Xing.

[Hand-on-hip is now up and about, gesturing like he doesn't care.] Anyway, we fought and I told Gluttony to eat the squinty-eyed guy, but that idiot ( ... )

[Lust proceeds to lean against a wall casually as he responds; when he finishes, she uncrosses her arms, letting them lie loose at her sides. Gluttony had told her about this in his super vague Gluttony way, all those months ago, but hearing it from Envy himself--the last one had been a little more discreet about details--was something else.

It might be more fortuitous, however, even with Envy, to play this card closer to the chest for now. She couldn't imagine he'd be pleased to hear she knew more about his future than he did, despite being dead in Amestris.]

You'll survive, I'm sure. [And that name--the Flame Alchemist. The one who had killed her two years ago. Or...] And how long has it been since that man killed me? You know I can't stand being out of the loop.

[There's that intensity in his expression again. Not nearly as riled up as he was when he first learned about her death, but watching that bastard get away with what he did because Wrath somehow convinced Father that he'd be useful keeps that anger alive and well.]

I don't know. Months? A year? [HECK IF I KNOW FMA'S TIMELINE] Does it matter?

Just curiosity. [JUST DON'T TELL HER WRATH DID IT ENVY or do, because it would be hilarious. She could theoretically understand keeping him alive for later use as a sacrifice--it was, at least, not the worst way she could have died--but not the part where he totally stood outside the door and listened to her ass get fried. She moves some hair out of her face.] And wondering how close you are to the Promised Day's arrival.
