[Hank was still readjusting to being back in his thirties, but when he stumbled across the invite, he made sure to be ready. Even so, he found himself only marginally more disheveled compared to usual.]

Ah, Lily. Happy birthday!

Thank you, Dr. McCoy. I'm glad you could make it.

[She smiles contentedly. The greatest gift of all is that she's not living the life she was a year ago. She's not in the Underground, no longer just a weapon for Mother, Heine is safe, and she has friends. The only thing that could make her situation even better would be knowing that Giovanni, Lotto, Arthur and the rest were all right.]

[He shifts his weight a little awkwardly.]

Well, I very nearly had to attend as a ten-year-old!

[Lily giggles a bit.]

...well, at least there's plenty of things here that a ten year old would find fun, right?

[Hank looks around the room and smiles.]

Oh, certainly. But not in the way they'd intend, I'd imagine.

Huh? What do you mean?

[Lily looks genuinely confused by that statement. Video games, laser tag, karaoke and cake. Well...maybe not the karaoke for a ten year old.]

[Hank rubs the back of his neck and examines one of the arcade machines from afar.]

Well, it's all the electronics. I had quite an out-of-control curiosity at that age, I'd have tried to discern how all of it works, and we'd have quite the mess on our hands!

Ooooooh! I see. Then we'd all get in trouble if you couldn't put it back together.

[She smiles slightly.]

Good thing you came as your normal self, then.

Oh, I'm sure I could...eventually.

[He lets out a sigh and chuckles softly.]

But yes, I do believe this was for the best.
