Calvin staggered back into the house around one after a long, productive day running around a City that had become as immature and energetic as he was. He didn't like being around lots of other kids, but he did like how chaotic everything was and how many games there were to play.

He banged into his bedroom as she was exploring it. "Hey! What are you doing here?!" Other people weren't supposed to wander through his space. That was what he did!

Angelica jumped to her feet, dropping the picture book she'd been reading unceremoniously on the floor. She stared at him with the biggest, most fearful eyes, unsure what to do now that the owner of the book was back and apparently mad at her. She'd never been very good at confrontations.

"I was reading," she said quietly, fidgeting with her hands. She didn't know who this boy was, but he was probably Pietro's son. Why else would he live in this big house with him?

And suddenly Calvin felt bad. It wasn't like Susie, who would be yelling at him right now- those big eyes just made him stop being angry. Annoying girls was fun and his sacred duty. Making them fidget and talk quietly like they were scared wasn't.

"Oh. Um... well, you should have asked first!"

"Pietro says this is my house." She stared at the floor, not sure that she truly believed all that. "And he says that I can play in it."

She picked up the book again and handed it out to Calvin. She didn't want him to be mad at her, she just wanted to play. She couldn't help being shy and nervous around new people. "What's your name?"

So what does Billy call her when she's an adult? Angelica? Aunt Angelica? XD zapswithmagic May 10 2011, 01:56:31 UTC
Billy was keeping an idly eye on the communicators just to make sure that nobody ended up in too much trouble. He knew what a handful little kids could be. He really really hoped that this would not be a permanent situation.

At the moment, he was lazing about on his bed, flipping through a comic book when he saw a little girl wander in. "Hey," he said lightly, watching her. It was so weird looking at a younger version of Firestar.

Whatever he likes! Angie is probably easiest XD firestarry May 10 2011, 02:05:50 UTC
"Hello," she said quietly, not moving from the doorway for a minute or two. It was her way of silently asking permission to enter. She didn't want to get yelled at again. Calvin was so loud and intimidating, and he wasn't even very big. This other person was much bigger and much more intimidating than Calvin.

She finally took another shy step into his room, tilting her head curiously. "What are you reading?"

Billy sat up with a smile, waving her closer. "It's a comic book about super heroes. See?" He held it up so she could get a better look at the front cover. "Pretty cool, huh? Or would you rather have a comic book about something else?"

"Superheroes?" She said the word like she wasn't quite sure what it meant. She'd led a very sheltered life, she didn't know much about life beyond Morristown, New Jersey. The concept of superhumans or mutants hadn't yet crossed her seven year old mind. "What's a superhero?"

[Once Gemma had heard that Angelica was a child, well, she wasn't about to let Pietro try to care for her by himself. Not that she didn't think he could do a wonderful job as a father-figure; she just didn't want him to feel too awkward about anything that might have happened. Depending on how young Angie was, perhaps changing diapers or something of the sort. But just in case, Gemma had brought along a few dresses she had magicked together, ones she could easily modify to fit the young girl. She entered the house with a smile, taking off her boots at the door and going towards the kitchen in stockinged feet.]

Hello?

[Angie heard the voice in the kitchen and took this opportunity to gallop down the hall to investigate. She didn't recognize the strange red haired lady, but she was visibly impressed by the lady's pretty dress. Poking her nose out from her hiding spot in the hall, she gasped in excitement.]

Hi!

[Oh, dear. Angie was quite small. But Gemma had already spoken with a younger Matt, and felt prepared for this. Angie was... actually, quite adorable. Gemma smiled at her and waved, hefting the bags of dresses more securely into her arms.]

Good morning, miss. You're looking quite fine this morning.

[Angie's face lit up and she attempted a curtsy, stumbling not so gracefully into the kitchen.]

Thank you, ma'am. I'm Angelica. Who're you? Are you friends with Pietro?

[She had a hard time saying his name still, but she was improving every time she says it!]
