Seras stared at the young man as she walked by. The lost look, the wooden sword, and the fact he was on his own made her a bit curious. She doubted he was dangerous, or anything like that, somehow he didn't look the type. Still, it couldn't hurt to check to see if he was okay.
At first Seras only noticed an odd flicker moving between, but once she focused on it she saw through the illusion to Lyra. Carefully she waved, trying to not make it clear to whom exactly and started to walk over to where Lyra was.
It had been a long time since Darkrai had been able to be out on his own, too long in fact, and by now he'd decided that he hated hospitals and that broken bones were something that he should avoid. Damaged anything, really. It wasn't an experience he wanted to relive. Of course, he knew that if he saw a child in danger like that again, that would be more important though. Children were... to be protected, after all.
At the moment, he was walking along the streets in human form, mostly to avoid scaring anyone- His Pokémon form had scared a few people already during his stay in the City, so he didn't really stay in that form much unless he was alone or around someone who was comfortable with it.
Besides that, he really needed to get better at walking again, considering how he hadn't used his legs in a while, and now was back to being wobbly. It didn't take to long until he tripped though, falling forward and making a pained sound as he hit the ground.
Seras had noticed the man being unsteady on his feet and was already walking over toward him when he fell. Once she was beside him she reached out to pick him up, lifting him as if he weighed nothing. "Are you okay?"
Darkrai was a bit surprised to be picked that easily, and blinked a few times. It wasn't a strength he'd seen humans have, but asked no questions, trying to get steady when he was put down on his feet. He'd gotten used to the pain of falling on his face, so he wasn't too bad off from something so small. It was a minor annoyance, compared to getting hit by a car at least.
"Yes. I am fine. Thank you." He said. Normally there would just have been a look and then he would have left, but in the form of a human, he knew he was also expected to behave like one, so... He did what he could, to fit in with everyone else. Even if he sometimes felt awkward about it.
Seras frowned a bit, people who were alright didn't usually just trip over their own feet like that, but she couldn't smell any alcohol on the man so she had no idea what could have made him fall over like that. "Are you sure? I can help you get a cab, or get home if it's close by. I don't mind."
[ Luffy was doing a little evening stroll on his way back to the MAC. Luckily he'd gotten most of his crew to spot him a couple bucks for snacks, after constant bugging and whining of course. So tonight he wouldn't go back empty handed or empty.. belllyyyy. With an armful of chips, a sub sandwich, and a Big Gulp; Luffy shoots Seras a wide smile when she passes, all while trying to bite down on his hot dog ]
The moment Seras saw the girl raise her head she started walking toward her. Even if the girl hadn't signaled her like that Seras would have intervened. A kid out this late, it didn't seem right and she would have wanted to make sure she wasn't lost, or a runaway. She could deal with all that later though, first she needed to defuse the situation with the drunk. "Excuse me, is this man bothering you?"
Seras reached out to put a hand on the girl's shoulder and smiled over at the drunk man. "I'll take it from here, sir. Don't worry I'll make sure she gets home. You might want to consider heading home yourself, it is getting late."
She'd escort himself, but there was the girl to worry about. Once they were out of earshot she'd call it into dispatch and have a patrol car pick him up. Turning back to the girl, Seras gently nudged her to follow and started walking.
