[The perch she's found in the rafters kind of reminds her of her recent role as supervisor while Trauma had been testing his powers on people. Same shadowed observation, same tense, unsure waiting.

Only it's entirely different. This clandestine meeting isn't with the same intention at all.

What if Tim really does have a chip in him? What if the Joker seriously comes out? She doesn't want to hurt him, not after everything he's done for her -- but if Terry says it's possible...

So she's waiting. Tensely, miserably, second-guessing everything she and Terry had gone over.]

Thirty minutes. [a pause for consideration, then a few quick adjustments.] Forty-five.

[A little breath-almost-sigh-thing, but more a stabilizing kind of breath rather than disappointed.]

Not bad, twip. I'm gonna owe you ice cream or something after this, sorry for dragging you in.

[That gets another glance, just short of resentful. The apology is his only saving grace, there. When she's satisfied with the ties she takes her seat again, hands in her lap.]

[He shoots her a glance, sort of :T]

What, you don't like ice cream?

Terry. [It's a little sharper, more sudden than any tone she's ever used on him before.] Just hurry.

I am, Carrie. Trust me, I want this all taken care of before he wakes up more than you do. But that doesn't mean I can't talk.

Here, just [insert some. technically defined sort of task here idek man].

[There's no response to that one, just compliance. It's pretty clear that she's not a fan of making conversation while he works, though.]

[And shortly after this he has to go meet Bruce. So he pulls up a list of specifics for her to continue programming, then pulls out one of his batarangs with ice-blue wings to signify the electric charge that this particular model delivers, because as far as he knows she doesn't have something that COULD electrocute Tim, and he's not leaving her alone without that.]

Touch here to expand it, and any sudden impact will activate the current. They're good for a while, but don't sap it if you don't have to.

[She nods -- both for the programming instructions and at the batarang instructions. And, afterward, he gets a warily curious glance up.]

You're going somewhere?

[Another nod, tempered with a doubtful look. Go meet Batman, right in the middle of -- of Operation Attack and Incapacitate Tim? But she did say she trusts him, so...]

[Terry is back before long, with Old Man Wayne in tow. The older Batman elects to find his own way in, his trust spread a little too thinly not to check the area first.

Satisfied -- though not entirely, never entirely -- he drops from the ceiling and lands behind Carrie, making sure he's loud enough to be heard.

Right now, he'd like very much to be heard.]

[She's sitting again at Tim's head, legs folded, back straight, hands in her lap, when that very-obvious and very-unmistakable sound comes. She's heard it a thousand times. Usually she's a second behind it -- it's new to be on this side.

Carrie's twisting to her feet immediately, spinning to face him and looking, before she can compose her face into anything else, overwhelmingly guilty.

And then she's really wishing Terry would've thought to mention this development to the plan. There's nothing much to be said though, no excuses to be made, so she doesn't try.]

[Terry sweeps in next and drops lightly, though not silently, as though this was all perfectly according to plan. He walks over to Carrie.]

[He stares coldly back at Carrie for a few seconds before brushing past her to kneel by Tim.]
