[ Fashionably late as is his style, Electro shows up around 11:30 out of costume (shockingly), wearing a brown turtleneck and a rubber jacket as he promised. Who cares if he looks out of place? That was gonna happen anyway with the bald head and the giant starfish tattoo on his face.

He's just gonna stand by the stereo for now and maybe sneakily zap it to a different song, frowning at everyone. Yes even you. ]

Spidey is wandering around the room when he catches the faint but familiar tang of ozone, at the same time as it registers that the music just changed mid-chorus. Oh, no. Not here, not the day after --

He vaults over the nearest partiers, probably much to their surprise, and lands in front of Electro, fists cocked. "Electro, I don't know what you're doing here, but --"

For emphasis, he snaps his fingers, producing a spark when they meet. His grin stays in place and he reaches into his jacket to pull out a piece of paper.

"I got an invitation to be here, Spidey. Look for yourself."

It's getting close to midnight and Angelica is sitting on a sofa all by herself, watching everyone flutter around in anticipation for the new year. She sips her punch, careful not to spill any of the magenta liquid on her pale yellow dress, the one Pietro likes so much and always asks her to wear.

Speaking of which, where the heck is that man?

...Wanda is staring at Zoidberg like he has grown six heads. Then she realizes with obvious disgust that this is the lobster man that offended her so deeply. That felt like ages ago or maybe it was the bubbly talking. Nonetheless, she waves her fingers, altering the probability of the man-thing being covered head to toe in melted butter.

James doesn't really want to leave. He's completely still here, and he lost the funny hat at some point. That's probably for the best.

Also he's a little wound up since he's been drinking a ton of soda all night long.

He's looking over the pictures he took tonight on the digital camera Gerry gave him for Christmas.
