[She's not nearly as upset as she was several hours ago. Now it's more in the back of her mind than anything, though it lingers. She's dressed warmly for the occasion, bundled up so she doesn't catch a cold. The magician has been quiet, for the most part, since she's met up with him. There's nothing to worry about, though. She's been holding his hand the whole while, occasionally giving their arms a swing back and forth, a sign that she's not a lost cause.]

[A line of kids is forming to all sit on Santa's lap. Of course, this Santa is just Sentinel Prime coerced into wearing a fake white beard and the rest of the Jolly Old Saint Nick get-up. Come and sit on his lap and ask for presents, or laugh at his expense.]

Wash isn't interested in the Santa Claus business. It's just extra icing on the cake when he sees the Prime wearing a Santa get up and Wash realizes this is exactly what the holidays are supposed to be.

He resists the urge to giggle and instead makes his way to help the kids line up and sit in Santa's lap.

[Sentinel Prime...is not a happy camper. At least the kids haven't seemed to notice yet, but this is probably the grumpiest Santa Claus ever. Not to mention the intermittent grumbling under his breath about itchy, possibly flea-infested fake beards and germ-ridden little humans.]

He's glad that the children haven't noticed the difference in Santas, but he's not one to impose that on any one looking for a good time.

Wash whispers to the Prime as another children walks away, "You do realize this is for a good cause? I'm sure they'd enjoy you either way."

Wandering around the tents is a slightly disgruntled-looking child in an elf costume. There is a large guard dog at her side, occasionally sniffing at suspicious persons. Occasionally, she approaches a couple, or an individual, and her entire demeanor changes. Her eyes brighten and her face breaks into a smile and she speaks in a soft and shy voice, asking for donations to charity.

She almost always comes away with something, eventually returning to wander again, alone and watching until another potential donor passes by.

Come say hello? She's bored out of her mind.

Josh was mostly just wandering around, looking for a few last minute Christmas presents. He had pretty much everyone covered, but you never knew when you were going to find the perfect thing for someone.

He was pleasantly surprised though when he saw someone he recognized. And they were even in costume. It was almost creepy how adorable Red seemed to be able to look when she wanted to.

She put the smile on her face and approached her friend. "Hello, Josh. Would you like to donate to one of the charities we're helping tonight?"

It felt a little odd, asking someone she knew, but her task was clear and she never deviated from her given tasks, so she held up the little gift-wrapped collection box she'd been using.

Or if that doesn't sound relaxing, take the time to take advantage of those large comfy couches surrounding that fire-pit. Peter's walking around in the artisan's corner, eyeing all the pretty trinkets and his Christmas list. He's got seven people to shop for, most of whom he doesn't know that well. What do you get for family you've never met before, and friends you couldn't possibly pay?

... Maybe Matt would like this macaroni sculpture. It's quirky, and Matt tolerates him so he must like quirky, right? Right?
