Everyone around him is moving too fast. The screaming, the monster ... or what Yuugi thinks is a monster. It's just as hard to make things out with all the dust.

The crowd is pushing him from all sides. All he wants to do is get away and back to the MAC.

Today sucks.

[Hiruma was a little less than happy about this. He growls and turns the TiVO on for the rest of the game. He quickly changes into his hero pants]

Come on, fucking manager, we're flying.

[He shifts into his bat form and waits for the girl]

Coming.

[she's panicked and terrified and nervous, but now is not the time to be any of those, and instead she simply climbs on his back. what a truly strange situation. then they're off, and she braces herself]

[Hiruma's flying is, on the surface, rather reckless and dangerous. And it is. He's flying as fast as possible, avoiding buildings and lights with quick turns and sideways turns. He's expecting her to hold on very tightly.

It's not long before they reach the town square, only a few minutes. Hiruma lands and let's Mamori off, quickly shifting back]

You stay the fuck AWAY from the rampaging emo, you got it? You can't heal yourself! I'll bring people who need assistance.

The tentacled monster is loose among the crowd. Or is it a tentacled monster? It seems to be unable to decide what it is, it's form flickering and shifting-- reflecting the fears of the crowd. It doesn't help that the longer his rampage goes, the more creative the civilians' minds seem to get.

But odd as it seems, it's not really attacking any one person. There seems to be no particular target. It's just lashing out, almost like it's in pain. Mental anguish.

Mental anguish or not, Namor abhorred whatever this creature was simply because it had ruined an otherwise peaceful day. Scowling, his eyes narrowed almost to slits, the Atlantean approached Trauma's transformed form, electricity crackling on his fingertips just before he let loose a bolt of static right in the mutant's direction.

The creature lets out a piercing shriek of a sound when the static strikes it, one of its tentacles thrashing with the shock. An alarm goes off as a car is crushed.

It has several glowing red eyes, and they swivel abruptly on Namor. It's trying to read his mind. Trying. Whether it can or not is another story, and thankfully that means for a moment, it's focused on one thing.
