She'll hear the motorcycle before she sees it - a loudening roar that resolves itself into a dark shape flying in between the buildings. The bike is an antique compared to most of the motorcycles people drove in the city today, but it gleamed in the morning light. It's driver was dressed much more sensibly for the cold - and for motorcycles and for flying, which would only exacerbate it - in a black leather jacket (slightly too big), goggles under his helmet, and thick gloves.

He touches down easily on the sidewalk next to her, to the surprise and dismay of the other pedestrians and gives her a big grin.

"Well good morning! ...Aren't you cold?"

Sirius 'Highly Observant' Black, folks.

Eleanor was admittedly impressed as she watched the motorcycle come flying down out of the sky to land in front of her. She'd seen cars...and motorcycles...but flying ones were new. She hadn't really known what to expect, really...but it was awesome as she thought.

And then he said that.

Well, this was not getting off on the right foot, judging by the half-glare she fixed Sirius with at that question. "I don't own any winter clothing. I don't have enough money to buy any till next week." She seemed like she might say something else, then she shook her head and tugged her jacket more tightly around her.

"Oh." Having gone straight to Moonybase, Sirius was completely spared the life lesson of not having enough money to get what he needed at any time. ...And he'd gone and wounded her pride.

"Well. You...want to see some magic? Sortof like how I got the bike to fly?"

At least there was a reasonable distraction from her annoyance in his fancy toy. She nodded stiffly at his question, and moved over to the edge of the sidewalk, leaning down slightly to study the machine.

"Did you have to modify the machine itself, or is it a...spell?" It didn't look different from other motorcycles she had seen, aside from the age. But that didn't mean anything since she'd never had the chance to take one apart.
