Lois was busy buying herself breakfast, because contrary to popular belief villains need to eat as well! Now that she had all that lovely cash from Joker's Murderpalooza she'd been able to hold off on killing random strangers in order to live. That didn't mean the City's cat population was safe from her...

So there she was, minding her own business and eating her croissant and fruit at a table in a small outside bistro. Surely she would be able to continue to do so in peace.

Lois could eat her breakfast all she wanted, because Alison knew the second her sister saw her, she'd pretty much flip a table to go after her. Especially if Lois saw her around when she was supposed to be in Colorado with Warren.

Once Jaime pinged her with the information, Alison used her powers to transport herself back into the City. She walked right by where her sister was sitting, making sure to sparkle and make Lois notice her. She even absorbed all sound for a quick moment.

While Jaime got the force field ready, Alison would drag Lois out into the open.

There were a few more doubts about this being easy. Last time Jaime threw down with Mortis, hostages got involved. Somebody could've been killed. The coordinates Jaime picked her up at this time was even more crowded than last time. They had to move this before things got rough.

Scarab tittered in the back of his head and Jaime pinged her comm again. "Try and lead her a block and a half down--between the furniture store and the insurance place. I'm going to plant the first two pieces at the west end of the alley and stand by!"

He went to do as he'd said, swooping low and clearing garbage and junk out of his way. The pieces were no bigger than the palm of his hand, round and flat like discs. They'd stick to the concrete well enough, given that nobody kicked them out of the way. Once they were set, he launched himself off the ground and hopped onto the furniture store's roof to wait, scanning the action blocks away. Hopefully things wouldn't get too destructive.

Nobody liked insurance companies anyway, right?

Lois had been enjoying her breakfast, and was even being polite to the people around her...or at least she wasn't killing the woman with the yappy dog in a purse the next table over. That counted right?

All rational thought escaped her when she saw those damn sparkles. It was like a switch flipped inside of her when she did; she just couldn't seem to resist getting up and following her older sister. Not only was Alison not supposed to be in the City, but she had on a really nice pair of shoes. Siblings were supposed to share things, and she would happily remind Alison of that fact.
