Tim disliked having Moon Knight giving the orders, especially with his rough use of language. It was inefficient and spoilt the sense of authority a little, not to mention putting people's backs up. But for now, it was better to let him take the position than to cause unnecessary conflict by calling his leadership into question. It would just be good to remember these things for future team endeavours.

"Alright Titans, you heard him. Superboy and Impulse, you're the first wave - Impulse, get Crow out whilst Superboy keeps him busy. Stature, back them up. Batgirl and I will be right behind you." With his shoulder injured, he couldn't get as involved as he'd have preferred, so he had to stay towards the back and provide tactical advice and orders. Batgirl would be the most use once she'd had a chance to get a read on Pyramid Head's combat abilities watching the others - for now, sending in Superboy as a heavy hitter and Impulse to get to Eric was the best idea. "Titans, together!"

Bart had planned on doing so and had already started the motion towards - Crow? Yeah, that's what Tim had called him. He could bring him out quicker and Kon was a bigger hitter so it was obviously a good option even from his point of view. What was a little less logical was the fact he had been ordered to get the arm out of there, too. It was severed. Ugh, healing factor probably - yeah, most probably since Crow was still conscious. Freaky. Less freaky than the Pyramid guy, but stillHe ran to the man lying on the ground and used the momentum of the run to get him on his back before grabbing the arm and efficiently putting blood all over his costume. He didn't have any super-strength, something people tended to forget and they assumed he could just run around with people on his shoulders. However, the momentum of high speed gave him the strength needed ( ... )

Lingering behind with Robin, for now, Batgirl's eyes were already glued to the fight. Though she hoped to get involved in the fight soon, she too agreed with Robin's battle plan and didn't have a problem with her current position. She stood a little in front of Robin, not that he needed it; it was more acknowledgment that he was injured and not 100%, and if they got into anything, she'd try to be first. No protection needed, though. The two of them rarely did that kind of thing for each other, even when there was actual saving involved.

As soon as Tim gave the okay to let loose, Kon charged head first toward Pyramid head. It had been forever since he had been able to actually fight that Kon was actually excited to kick some ass.

Kon wasn't a man of strategy (that was Robin's job) so his first move was to break the stupid hat, mask, the pyramid thing on his head. He repeatedly allowed his fists to hit PH full force expecting the pyramid on its head to crack or at least dent but it didn't.

"What the..." Kon felt uneasy, as if there was something wrong with the entire situation.

X-force hadn't been up against something like this in awhile, and certainly not with this combination of the team. Sam was almost worried that they wouldn't be able to pull this off, but he chose to have faith instead. His friends knew how to make a mess, if anything. They'd never let him down before.

Sam didn't flinch at Moon Knight's tone; he was used to harsh battle screams like that.

"Yes, sir." He stared at the man before shouting a quick order over to X-force. "You heard him, team--Stand your ground and do whatever it takes. You know th' drill."

It was sometime after Tim cleared Kon from the field that MK remembered that he had the X-Force to call on. Cassie and Batgirl could hold that alleyway, for now, but they were in no shape to take on the Pyramid Killer directly.

Only one thing to do, then: "X-Force!" he called from the roof. "Lay down the fire! Hit him with everything you got! Take him DOWN!"

And then he called to Phoenix on the other side of the roof. "Phoenix! That knife's gonna cause some difficulties - melt it down! Take away his weapon!"

Tabby whooped and pumped her fists in the air, perky as ever and then some. Hesitation, after all, was for wusses and long-term thinkers. Tabby was neither of these.

"Fuck yeah!"

With a grin, she opened her hands wide. Plasma burst from her palms and shot towards X-Force's shadowy opponent, filling the air with heat and light.

"BOOM!"

Holding up two of her weapons, Domino began firing shots instantly. She had thermite explosives on her, but she'd save them for last. For the moment, the bullets were fine, and her guns would work their magic.

"Haven't played this game in awhile." She grinned.

This was not going well.

When Kon had been slammed to the ground, MK froze up... unsure of how to address the situation. He had to get Superboy out of there, but how? Robin was injured, Bart was busy with Eric, Door and Wiccan were busy with the evacuees... and there was no one else to grab him. It was only when Robin acted on his own volition (and possibly re-injuring his shoulder in the process) that he came back to his senses. Ordering X-Force to attack, he looked down at the monstrous thing, his eyes narrowed.

"This is not going well," he muttered, glancing at Cap. "If we soften him up and take away his weapon, maybe Batgirl and Shatterstar could take him. Hopefully we don't get anymore casualties. Sound good?"

Steve glanced over to Marc. He had promised himself he wouldn't step on his toes. This was his mission, and he was running it. So far just fine, other than for Superboy being nearly cut in half that is. But Robin had gotten him out of the way, and the others were doing well. He looked over to Marc his arms crossed over his chest. He knew they'd have to get into this sooner or later, but without his shield, they were going in unarmed. Well unarmed other than whatever Marc had on him. And facing this monsters sword without his shield wasn't a smart move.

"If we can manage to draw his sword swings, I think X-Force and the remaining Titans can get in and put and end to this." He fixed his cowl and gave Marc a look. It was his show, he got the final okay.

"I don't want to get caught in the cross-fire," he replied, looking rather grim as he perched himself on the scaffolding. "And fists won't do much against him. He's got no pressure points, skin hard as rock... best thing to do is coordinate up ahead. And--" He furrowed his brow, watching Shatterstar on the move with his swords at the ready. This would be interesting... the man had a healing factor, didn't he?

"If Phoenix can melt down that blade, it shouldn't be as much of a problem," he replied. "We'll still have his arms to deal with... and his speed. Didn't realize how fast he was." His expression was unreadable beneath the hood, but one could tell that MK wasn't feeling too confident about a hand-to-hand melee.

Steve nodded his head as he continued to watch the fight below. If he had his shield he could have taken out the sword himself. But Marc was right, they couldn't do much again a man who's skin was as hard as a rock. He watched Shatterstar and hoped the man didn't get himself killed.

"There's really nothing you can do about his speed. Unless you can cripple him first. Take out his legs, and then his arms. It's going to be hard to take him down by trying to kill him in one blow." Steve frowned. He really hoped that wasn't what X-Force was trying to do.
