So tell me, when you say "maybe I could find them for you," does that mean you'll be out pounding pavement with me? Or perhaps you've got a little bit of a leg up in the power department, if you know what I mean?

Well, the shape-shifting aspect is certainly familiar enough.

What is the most effective way to neutralise them? Is there any known weakness?

The only known weakness is that, after it's fed, it's got to take a bit of a breather. It can't attack immediately, in any event. It'll turn into its natural shape and try to get away and hide.

And their natural forms are what, exactly?

They're about two feet in length, and look like a fleshy, wrinkly sort of slug. Face only a mother could love.

If they're shape-shifters, how can you find them?

That's the rub, isn't it?

The helpful hint is that they'll take forms that will induce a strong emotion in you. So if you're feeling something more strongly than normal, that's a good clue to get the hell outta there.

Unfortunately...you don't. Not without some sort of power. I'm thinking the psychics and the 'finders' need some sort of team-up here.
