Right! Last year the locals confiscated my brilliant display and turned off the power. This year I'm a step ahead and I've built my own generator.

For enjoyment. Everyone likes looking at sparkling lights so why not share the enjoyment with the whole neighborhood?

No. Well, yes if I'm somewhere that celebrates Christmas and you'd be surprised how many planets do!

Oh, yes, had to. Last year the power people came over and turned it all off because of complaints. Oh and there was a black out a time or two as well, but that shouldn't matter in the face of holiday cheer!

Well I have to get ready before all the good displays are bought up! Apparently I have to wait until after Thanksgiving to put these up, or at least that's what the shop assistant says.

But you've got to wait until December the first, at the very earliest. It's barely even winter, and how're you going to get all those lights up anyway?

[ They have those cables that are distinctive of things that need electricity. This all seems unnecessarily complicated to Ginny. ]

I'm getting my supplies today. Can't let all the good ones go before I can get to them.

Of course! I try and make planet side every Christmas. It's the one holiday nearly every planet in every time celebrates. You humans and your festivals! You really know how to do them right!!
