Oh, yes, had to. Last year the power people came over and turned it all off because of complaints. Oh and there was a black out a time or two as well, but that shouldn't matter in the face of holiday cheer!

...Yes, actually. [He doesn't know the Doctor well at all, but he can't shake the impression that this spells disaster. If the Doctor were building a time machine, Ianto would leave him to it. But a "simple" generator? He just knows it's going to explode. Or start draining power from the grid. Or bring the damn penguins to life.]

Well, don't. I've already tested it and there's nothing wrong. It's just a plain old Earth standard generator.
