Even if they had, it is doubtful that would stop them.

No way, man. I think I'm onto something here.

I am quite certain that some of them do it because it is fun. And if those that die loose certain memories when they return, that may be even more reason to kill - almost like a form of torture, forcing the other to forget things that may be important to them. Additionally on very very rare occasion, some that have died did not return, so perhaps they are attempting to get lucky and simply hope that the person they kill will not end up coming back.

Some people are just sick, Troy.

But I figured the point of killing people is so they stay dead. Otherwise there's like, no reason in the first place.

Why does an animal delight itself with its own reflection or a spot of light upon a rock, Troy Bolton, when it is clear that it will never catch such a thing? Perhaps these evil doers simply do not know any better. Or perhaps still they simply enjoy the act.

Nah, man. Reflections and stuff is different from killing.

To you, perhaps. But you are not everyone, are you? If truly this place is populated by those who have been taken from many different worlds, there is no telling the kinds of men and monsters are among us. Some simply delight in the torment of others. Others may see it as a means of balance.

To you there many not be sense, but still, it is a reason.

... I guess. But, it'd be nice if people did think the same. Like, at least then people wouldn't wanna be mean.

From what I hear, the resurrection ship only sails in the direction of the frakkers brought in by the machine. That's us, here, on this network. Just us. How many of us are there? One hundred? Two, maybe even three? Nobody else has the luxury of bouncing back, and shaking death off like a bad hangover. That's a whole lot of civvies to play around with.

Accidents happen. Good people take friendly fire, and sometimes torture goes too far. Sometimes there are no good reasons for death, and sometimes there are a hundred and one reasons to take a man down. Frak, sometimes people just get off on the act. And if we come back, then the fun never ends. No one kills and worries about conserving time.

Okay, so not the civilian dudes then, but the heroes and not so heroic types. There's no point to it.

There's no point to it, because it isn't permanent? What makes you think that's the slightest bit true?

Because like, the point of killing is to like, kill. Why would you then kill if they just come alive? It makes no sense.
