[voice] why hello there uncomfortably familiar subject matter taughttolisten December 3 2009, 21:35:50 UTC
[in a low, thoughtful tone of voice]

It is in the nature of all things to die, and in the nature of every being with the capacity for emotion to mourn. Grief is an axis on which whole worlds may spin. But even as the loss of someone dear never leaves us, the memories they inhabit can never be banished.

We may mourn for a day or a lifetime, but those who are gone once existed and touched our lives. Try to hold that foremost in your thoughts.

I do not plan on forgetting them. They are too deeply ingrained in the world's history, and mine, to be forgotten.

Perhaps I shall.

It all depends on how close they are. Lover, family or friend?

It's taken me from one month to a whole year to get over losing close friends.
