The Winter Solstice will be 21 December this year, and I wish to celebrate. Scott has
agreed that a feast be held at the Institute, and perhaps a bonfire. Celebrations will be held outside, so I advise those who attend to dress warmly.
The sun will begin to set at 4:31 P.M. It will be a beautiful sight, I guarantee.

Time passes quickly. Already, a month and a half has gone by. [she pauses for a little while, and sighs lowly. her tone holds just a smidge of sorrow, but she’s doing a pretty good job of hiding it.]
By this time, it is likely that Nicholas and Perenelle have met their ends. It is a sad thing. They were great assets to humanity, and will be sorely missed.
[another pause. her words are halting, her voice strained. she’s still trying to hide what she’s feeling.]
Those of you who have lost someone... close. What is the appropriate length of time to spend in mourning?
