Meme time!

Because we never really know each other as well as we think, in response to this post I'd like you to ask a question. Anything about which you are curious, anything you feel you ought to know about me. Silly, serious, personal, fannish. Ask away. Then copy this to your own journal, and see what people don't know about you ( Read more... )

If you want to come on a field trip, you're welcome at any time.

Just arrange it with your school.

I'd be happy to, son. I suggest just practicing for now, and we can sit down and work on specific techniques in a bit.

You helped me out in the Cube because of all your good qualities. Those same qualities would be there even if that never happened.

I wish you'd believe me when I told you those sorts of things.

Because when you're just being you, you're awesome. When you're trying really hard to cover up for issues you THINK you have, you're annoying, insecure, and a bit of an asshole.

Thankfully, those moments are rare. I think the real you is far more awesome, even if you keep trying to hide it.

Nothing wrong with being popular, Jaime.

And I know you did your best. That's all I can ask.

Kid, if there's one thing I've learned... never bet against the heroes.

Giving you a job does two things.

1) I look good in the short term. It's like giving jobs to retarded people. Great PR.

2) Once it's all over, I'll look even better for championing you. Because you'll be cleared up. The heroes always come out looking good around here. I mean, look at Jordan! Look at what he's done! And he's coming out like a hero again!

Kurt, you don't know if Bobby's 'running the books' on my wedding, do you? I'm starting to think he might be...

I have no idea what you're talking about, Lorna. What books?

It's a term that means taking bets. Is he taking bets? I've been hearing things.

Bets? What sorts of bets?

*See how innocent he is? He's practically a priest.*

Cousin Gorgon, can you make Father less stupid?

We can attempt to throw him to the Terragen Mists on the off chance that it will increase his brainpower instead of just killing him...

I'm sorry, Luna. Nothing in the universe can do that.

Cousin, that's horrible! And isn't it also illegal? ...would it make him smarter?

I wish there was, I really wanted to visit Grandfather all by myself like Mother said I could and now I can't.

Maybe. Unlikely. But there's a chance, I suppose. But it probably wouldn't make him less of an ass.

Your father might require a special kind of surgery. It's called a rectal-cranial inversion.
