I was wondering if you guys would show up again. [ Kirk cracks his knuckles and there's the sound of his fist hitting something. Hard to tell if it's the wall or his captors. Then there is another large sound and Kirk grunting as he hits the floor

[She would rush out and check on him, but ffff, she knows what this is, and she knows there's nothing she can do. That, and the blizzard wouldn't allow her to get there quickly enough. So, she just lets out a frustrated groan.]

[Who cares about bed rest? The moment that she hears a ruckus at all, Buffy is out of those covers fast than, well? Faster than a lot of things. At first she doesn't quite realize what is happening. Maybe, she thinks, someone's simply gone and injured themselves?

Luckily, her side was healing at a better pace now. Some of that old Slayer spark was ebbing back, and so she navigated quite nimbly through the house. But upon finding the journal all her triumph fell away and she kneels carefully next to it.]
