Quick hit (in-progress) reactions to "Dead Beat", book seven of The Dresden Files. Note I've got the audiobook going, not a paper or digital copy of the text.
dfajsdf DEAD BEAT IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE IN THE SERIES. I feel you on the tension during the scene with listing off all the losses, that really hit me when I was reading.
I've started poking at the next one, but essentially, no, I haven't really started it. My brother's persuaded me to read some more run-of-the-mill fiction! (Which has, ironically, given me a pretty heavy set of slash goggles from page one. I don't even know.)

Enjoying the Wardens subplot and characters. Interesting to see where Butcher takes it :)

Are you on the next one yet, it really goes into more in depth with the wardens and their business.
