Malfoy and Snape

Two Questions

I was browsing Wikipedia and on the page for Lucius Malfoy, it says "Lucius Malfoy, the son of a prominent wizard named Abraxas Malfoy (who died years later of dragon pox) ...". Has this been mentioned in canon or by JK Rowling? It's new to me and I was wondering how much truth is in it ( Read more... )

"Sir, I think you knew my grandfather, Abraxas Malfoy?" Harry looked up; Slughorn was just passing the Slytherin table.

"Yes," said Slughorn, without looking at Malfoy, "I was sorry to hear he had died, although of course it wasn't unexpected, dragon pox at his age. . . ."

Question number two: I don't think it says. (And always use present tense when talking about literary figures. Sirius Black is.)
