Just thought I'd let all of you know that I've completely re-vamped this community's layout.  Check it out - I'm quite fond of it, but I'd like to hear feedback from  you as well.  And yes, I photoshopped Emma's dress myself, but it's okay as long as you don't look too closely.

And I think we're doing pretty well, on the whole ( Read more... )

Very nice!

Thank you for photoshopping it . . . we are, after all, a canon community . . . *scoffs at the plebian nerve of the movie-makers to not follow the books.*

Thanks!

I actually photoshopped it just for fun, and to see if I could, but then I'd also been wanting to customize the layout for some time.

But yes, bah to the movies. Pink, indeed.

Yep - they've already finished all the filming (...omega, the movie comes out in less than a month!), and all these pictures are coming out now.

Great job! Wasn't pink the color that Pansy was wearing to the ball?

Nicely done. The style still looks too frilly and Pansy-ish, though :)

Heheh...er...that is sarcasm, right? Sorry, I get paranoid sometimes and can't tell....

Sorry, I was getting at the film-makers, not you. Why would they put her in pink (especially with red shoes)? I liked the idea of her choosing periwinkle blue, because it's a colour that suits practically anyone - it seems so practical and Hermione-ish. That dress looks like one of Barbie's cast-offs. The photoshopping is a huge improvement, but I really see her as going for a simpler style rather than all those tiers in the skirt.

Just ignore me.

It's for "sex appeal" I'm sure . . . the same reason they're all wearing Muggle clothes in the third movie. Who cares what the characters would actually do? We're only supposed to be masturbating over the cast, apparently . . . which might be okay . . . just . . . we can do that with canon people, too . . . lol . . .

Hermione wasn't even supposed to be sexy until this very scene, lol . . . she's supposed to be sort of plain-Jane . . . and then it's like BAM . . . there's no BAM here, because Emma's been cute since the first movie, lol . . .

Yea for lavinialavender, for undoing what the movies have cruelly done!

Nicely done! I would have loved to see her in a blue dress in the movie, I dont really like the pink they gave her!...oh well...at least we can see her with the "canon" color here! :)
